SNERDI Successfully Developed CAP1000 SG Dryer

Dec.30, 2014, the evaluation meeting of “CAP1000 Steam Generator (SG) Dryer Research”, jointly completed by SNERDI and Shanghai East-Sea Pressure Vessel Manufacturing Co. Ltd, was held. After listening to the report, reviewing relevant documents and visiting the production site, the expert team has agreed that the newly-developed dryer has initiated at home the utilization of Double Pocketed Vanes, thus having complete proprietary intellectual property rights. Its overall performance is better than any of its kind abroad and can be used in the follow-up NPP units.
