June 4, 2013, Chief Designer’s Office of the Large Advanced Pressurized Water Reactor, one of the 16 National Science and Technology Major Projects, convened a review session on the outlines of two simulation tests. After adequate inquiry and debate, both two outlines were passed unanimously. The two tests are respectively CAP1400 Reactor Internals 1/6 Scale Model Hydraulic Test and CAP1400 Reactor Internals 1/6 Flow Induced Vibration (FIV) Test.
