On 6th, Sep., 2016, experts from General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals (GRINM) visited Shanghai Nuclear Power Engineering Research & Design Institute (SNERDI). The two sides explored possibilities of developing cooperation and discussed the localization of materials and equipment.

GRINM has been dovoting to the R&D of nonferrous metals materials and technology since the establishment in 1952 and facilitated to build up the rare metals industry system across China. As the strongest R&D institution in the fields of nuclear power and nonferrous metals in China, SNERDI and GRINM are looking forward to joint exploitation on localized materials and equipment.
