On December 16, 2016, a delegation lead by Chairman of Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority, Mr. Anwar Habib, visited Shanghai Nuclear Power Engineering Research & Design Institute (SNERDI). The Senior Vice President of State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation (SNPTC) and President of SNERDI, Dr. ZHENG Mingguang, Vice Presidents of SNERDI, Mr. YAN Jinquan and Mr. FEI Min attended the meeting.

Dr. ZHENG introduced the historical footprint, technical capabilities and the achievements SNERDI made through national major project CAP1400. Mr. Anwar Habib highly appreciated the efforts SNERDI made to Chashma Nuclear Power Plants. In addition, the two sides explored possibilities of deepening cooperation on training programs in the future.
