From September 21st to 22nd, 2016, Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute (SNERDI) was invited to attend the 3rd Annual International Nuclear Plant Operation and Maintenance Conference (INPOM2016). Delegation led by Vice President of SNERDI, Mr. XIA Zhiding, made speeches on Application of Risk Monitoring Technology in Nuclear Power Operation and Maintenance Management, Check and Test of Blast Valve in Service, and Research Progress on Reliability and Aging Assessment of Fire Protection System in Nuclear Power Plant.

INPOM is intended to gather more experts from the nuclear operators and discuss further in the areas of life extension, upgrading, aging management, daily repair, maintenance and overhaul stage. INPOM attracted experts from nuclear operators, EPC contractors, design institutes, NPP repair and maintenance companies, equipment and IT venders together to share their experiences and initiate the power of “think out of box” as the main strength of every character of the conference.
