August 16, 2013, China Nuclear Energy Association (China-NEA) organized and hosted in Dalian, Liaoning Province, Assessment Meeting of Science and Technology Achievements on “Self-reliance Passive NPP Personnel Airlock Prototype”. The assessment committee listened to the technical research report from Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute (SNERDI) and Dalian Baoyuan Nuclear Equipment Co., LTD, reviewed related materials and witnessed the demonstration of the prototype. They all agreed that this project is complete in achievement documents, full and accurate in content, reliable in data and thus meets the assessment requirements.

The successful development of Personnel Airlock Prototype reached research goal and obtained several patents, fully reflecting the design and manufacture capability of China’s Gen Ⅲ NPP Personnel Airlock.
