On Sep. 6^th, 2016, Chairman of State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC), Mr. WANG Binhua, accompanied by Senior Vice President of State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation (SNPTC), President of Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute (SNERDI) visited Chashma Nuclear Power Plants in Pakistan.

SPIC delegation met the leaders from Chashma Nuclear Power Generation State (CNPGS) and discussed the operation of Unit 1&2, the construction of Unit 3&4, and the pending issues with them. Mr. WANG, emphasized the importance of operation and maintenance, and he required SNERDI to fully support the construction of the following-up units to ensure the safety and security.

The delegation visited the main control room of unit 2&3, turbine building, simulator of Unit 3 and the employees on site. Mr. WANG was grateful for all the efforts and sacrifices the on-site employees contributed. He encouraged them to continuously concentrate on the services provided for the utilities, prohibited potential safety hazards and obtained fruitful achievements through the on-site works.
