On 1st, Sep., 2016, Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute (SNERDI) and China First Heavy Industries (CFHI) signed the strategic cooperative frame agreement.

CFIH introduced the latest measures for strategic development and the medium and long development objectives. SNERDI reviewed the cooperation between both sides, prospected the future collaboration and presented the R&D and engineering construction of CAP series.

SNERDI and CFIH have been cooperated in the areas of Reactor Pressure Vessels, Steam Generators, welding materials and engineering process for nuclear power equipment. The obtained achievements have been and will be applied in Chashma Unit 1-4, AP1000 follow-up projects and CAP1400 demonstration project.
