July 29 to August 2, 2013, the 21^st International Conference on Nuclear Energy (ICONE21) was held in Chengdu, China and co-hosted by China Nuclear Society (CNS), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME). SNERDI delegation headed by Mr. Yan Jinquan, Vice President and Chief Engineer, as well as other 22 delegates, participated in the conference and made 20 reports.

During the session, Mr. Bychkov, Deputy Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Mr. Sun Qin, Chairman of the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) and Mr. Gu Jun, General Manger of the State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation (SNPTC) visited SNERDI booth and had friendly exchanges with the staff.
