On 28th, July, 2016, a delegation of Chashma Nuclear Power Generating Station (GNPGS), led by General Manager Muhammad Saeed-ur-Rahman, visited Shanghai Nuclear Power Engineering Research & Design Institute (SNERDI).

SNERDI introduced the construction status of AP1000 nuclear power plants in Sanmen and Haiyang, demonstrated the advancement, safety and economy performance of CAP1400, and presented the detailed plan on the Operation & Maintanence (O&M) projects for Chashma Nuclear Power Plants. The two sides explored possibilities of deepening cooperation, and discussed the enhancements and systematic settlement of the nuclear power plants after Fukushima accident.
