From May 6 to 10, 2019, delegation from Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute (SNERDI) was invited to attend the ISO (International Organization for Standardization)/TC (Technical Committess) 85 and visit Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN) in Berlin, Germany.

ISO/TC85 discussed standardization in the field of peaceful applications of nuclear energy, nuclear technologies and in the field of the protection of individuals and the environment against all sources of ionizing radiations. Representative from SNERDI shared experiences of nuclear power reactor design, siting, operation and decommission, and presented proposals on construction, equipment and digital handover.
