On the afternoon of August 30th, the launching ceremony of Shanghai "Quality Month" and the 20-year publicity campaign of Quality Award by the Shanghai Municipal Government were officially launched. Chen Tong, the leader of the Shanghai Quality Work Leading Group and Deputy Mayor, attended the event and delivered a speech. Shang Yuying, deputy leader of the Leading Group and Deputy Secretary-General of the Municipal Government, and Chen Xuejun, Municipal Market Supervision Bureau Director also attended the event. Liu Haibin, director of the Quality Management Department of Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Design Institute (SNERDI), was invited to attend the event and was awarded the "Top Ten Cases in 2021" of digital transformation in enterprise quality management field.

In order to thoroughly implement the national policy of quality improvement and enhance the influence of quality brands, SNERDI has integrated digital technology into the entire quality management process, and formed a "visual and digitalized design quality management platform for nuclear power plants" through more than ten years of innovation. Through formal and data evaluation, on-site review, SNERDI emerged victorious among the 46 cases shortlisted for on-site review.

In addition, "Improving the Brand Content of China's Nuclear Power with Excellent Engineering Quality" based on the experience and practices of quality management over the past 50 years since the founding of SNERDI was selected as a case of "Inclusive and pursuing excellence- Quality Award of Shanghai Municipal Government for 20 years". Liu Haibin was selected as one of the ten representatives of Enterprise Chief Quality Officer of Shanghai in 2021.
