The 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), themed "Towards Digital Future and Service Driven Development," was held at the China National Convention Center and Shougang Park in Beijing during 2-7 September in “online+offline” mode. 

Over 10,000 companies from 153 countries and regions have participated in the CIFTIS online or offline, including 81 Belt and Road countries. It focused on eight professional themes, including telecommunication, computer and information services; financial services; cultural, tourism and travel-related services; educational services; sporting services; supply chain and business services; engineering consulting and construction services; and health and hygiene services. It also held six types of events: global trade in services summit, forums and conferences, exhibition and display, promotion business talks, achievement release, and side events.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, SNERDI participated in the thematic exhibition of engineering consulting and construction services online this year. With the joint efforts of Business Development Department and other relevant departments, as well as SPIC Nuclear Power Equipment Co., Ltd., it constructed 2D plane booths and 3D booths, joined online business talks, and tracked business opportunities.

Its booth can be divided into seven categories, namely nuclear power general contracting project, renewable project, nuclear O&M and technical service, nuclear technology application, nuclear environmental protection, civil/industrial building, and bidding agent. Compared to last year, it first promoted cobalt-60 radioactive source and carbon-14 isotope production design plan, environmental management system, radwaste treatment products and technologies, fully showcasing its innovation and achievements made in nuclear technology application and nuclear environmental protection.

With multimedia means and the brand-new immersive VR experience, the online platform can break the limitation of time and space for SNERDI to showcase its products, services, and technologies in an all-round way.
